SCOPELY REVEALS NEW THE WALKING DEAD NARRATIVE ARC, INSPIRED BY TELLTALE GAMES’ THE WALKING DEAD ADVENTURE SERIES

The Walking Dead: Road to Survival to Feature Playable Characters from Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season and Original Story Content During Limited Time Crossover Event

Scopely and Telltale Games have joined forces to bring players a brand new The Walking Dead storyline that links the worlds of Scopely’s The Walking Dead: Road to Survival and Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Starting July 17th, players who download The Walking Dead: Road to Survival will embark on a new interactive narrative adventure that spans the stories of three powerful survivors that fans will recognize from Telltale Games’ critically acclaimed game series.

In the limited time crossover event, which runs through mid-August, players will be able to play through never-before-seen storylines (called “Roadmaps” in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival) inspired by the events of The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Three new playable characters from the Telltale Games series will join the fight in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival. Players will also be able to win Telltale-themed rewards by fighting in select in-game tournaments, running from July 17th through mid-August.

Scopely’s The Walking Dead: Road to Survival is a mature, intense, story-driven game that emulates the ongoing struggle to survive in a harsh and unforgiving world overrun by vicious Walkers and ruthless fellow survivors. Players navigate the challenges of collecting resources, building and fortifying their compounds, all while managing to fend off the onslaught of undead. The Walking Dead: Road to Survival is available as a free download on iPhone and iPad,  Android devices, and Amazon devices.

In Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends. The Walking Dead: The Final Season will launch on August 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
