Despite being released in Japan back in 2013 and being extremely popular, Level-5’s unique Yo-Kai Watch has never been given a chance in the West until now. Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing the first Yo-Kai Watch game in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Korea.
Currently Nintendo is planning on releasing Yo-Kai Watch sometime in 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS and at the moment it seems like the only major change to the title has been the re-naming of the protagonist from Keita Amano to Nathan Adams. For those who are unaware of the game, Yo-Kai Watch follows a boy who obtains a special watch that allows him to befriend Yo-Kai that will join him to fight against other Yo-Kai while also overcoming various challenges.
