iFrogz announced the unveiling of the Caliber Advantage controller today. The controller works via bluetooth and sports slide out controls that will provide gamers with two analog sticks, a D pad, and four buttons. Epic Games has thrown their support behind the device and will bring Caliber Advantage support for their Unreal Engine 3 titles. “We are thrilled to collaborate with iFrogz to fully integrate the new Caliber Advantage for use with Unreal Engine 3,” said Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games. “The coupling of our world-class technology with iFrogz’ innovative iOS controller provides endless opportunities for exciting new gaming experiences from developers around the globe.”
The Caliber Advantage will sell for $69.99 USD online and in stores. It is slated for a Q1/Q2 2013 release. Learn more about it here.
