SYDNEY – April 19, 2021 – Winter Ember, the stealth sandbox action game from developer Sky Machine Studios and publisher Blowfish Studios, dismantles a corrupt organization from the shadows on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam and GOG today. The Nintendo Switch version continues to make preparations in the darkest corners for later this year.
Heavy gaits of guard boots echo in harmony with the cadence of horse hooves and wagon wheels across Anargal’s cobblestone pathways. A rugged cloaked man crouches in an abandoned corridor trapped with his troubled thoughts in defining silence. Reminiscing on long-lost nobility, his heart burns with the overwhelming fire of revenge fueling the strength behind a fully-taut, arrow-loaded bow.
Become the long assumed dead aristocrat, Arthur Artorias, as he takes revenge upon Greater Heaven, an oppressive religious faction with an iron grip on the ruined remains of his homestead. Scour derelict districts of a massive Victorian city under the blanket of mist and darkness. Stealthily duck in and out of snow-covered alleyways to pilfer gorgeous estates and temples while silencing assailants unlucky enough to spot Arthur.
Craft specific arrow types to aid in the rebellion effort. Combine smoke, explosion, electricity, sleep, water, and poison elements with numerous materials to scale buildings, destroy barriers, and subdue unsuspecting cult members. Advance Arthur through three distinct skill trees, granting a deadly edge in either Combat, Stealth, or Utility. Unravel the unsettling truths behind Arthur’s painful past, the untimely fall of his family, and the motivations behind this group hell-bent on cleansing the world of “darkness” by any means necessary.

The Nintendo Switch version will arrive later this year.
