Space Sim Shooter Subdivision Infinity DX Touches Down on PlayStation 5 Today
SYDNEY – Sept. 22, 2021 – Subdivision Infinity DX, the immersive, pulse-pounding sci-fi 3D space shooter from publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Mistfly Games makes a stylish landing on PlayStation 5 today.
Hardened intergalactic starfighter Sgt. Jed Riddle nearly escapes death after a routine inspection of a dormant mining facility turns into a brutal shootout with mysterious assailants. Charged with the investigation behind the motives of these mysterious bandits, he uncovers their unyielding desire to obtain a strange substance known as Element-122.
Travel the far reaches of the galaxy on the lookout for nefarious activity leading Riddle along his assailants’ trail. Engage in fast-paced dogfights with swarms of drones and awe-inspiring battles with massive capital ships. Evade incoming missiles, turret fire, and fields of wreckage to tactically retaliate with powerful offensive attacks, overwhelm the enemy, and pick them off one by one.
Mine meteors and loot abandoned space stations to collect rare materials and trade with merchants at the nearest spaceport. Upgrade Riddle’s ships with advanced weaponry between missions and add new vessels to his collection. Complete more than 40 adrenaline-pumping combat missions throughout the campaign to gain the upper hand and take down this ruthless band of mercenaries.
