A couple of weeks ago it was announced that after waiting for over a year that Dragon Ball Super would finally be given an English subtitled simulcast through a number of different services. Now today FUNimation has announced that they have entered into a multi-year agreement with Toei Animation to license Dragon Ball Super in the United States and Canada.

According to the press release, this license agreement covers streaming, digital download, home video distribution and FUNimation has already confirmed that they will begin working on an English dub for the series but will release details about that on a later date. For now, the FunimationNow service will be offering episodes 1-10 and 47-64 with English subtitles and starting on November 5th they will add episode 65 with the missing episodes being added in as they are completed.
