Word up! Ridiculous slang, or good news? In this case, a bit of both, with the phrase being short for Ayopa Game’s word game, W.E.L.D.E.R. has been given a brand new multiplayer update.
Poor word play aside, the game has been given a brand new update, allowing multiplayer with your friends or, if you like, a random person via Game Centre. The multiplayer update includes power-ups, such as a Mine or a Toxic Tile, to gain advantage over your opponent. A brand new 2 player wins leaderboard, Weld of the Day – with a new word everyday. Weld that word for a Gigawatt bonus, and tweet the Weld of the Day for even more Gigawatts.
The turn-based word game can be purchased here for just $0.99 right now. But if iOS isn’t your thing, then you’re in luck. Ayopa games have also just announced that a Mac version will be available as of tomorrow. The Mac version has all the fun of single-player W.E.L.D.E.R., but with optimized visuals and interface.
