Here is some very good news for all of you famished Wii owners out there. Telltale games announced today that they have now signed a deal with Nintendo of America that will enable their titles to be published on the Wii. To make matters more exciting, the first title that will be published by the developer is the PC favorite, Back to the Future: The Game.
CEO Dan Connors had this to say on the new milestone for Telltale:
“Securing a publishing agreement with Nintendo of America ensures that we can make our popular content available on every major console platform. This signing is a significant milestone in our long-term growth strategy, “said Telltale co-founder and CEO, Dan Connors. Back to the Future: The Game is a great fit for the Wii platform and we’re excited to bring it to retail this holiday.”
Back to the Future will become available for the console this October and will be priced at just $19.99. Hopefully, more titles will be revealed later down the line for the Wii such as Puzzle Agent and the other heavy hitters, but for now, it is still rather exciting to hear that Wii owners will be getting some Telltale love as soon as October.
