MW2 Security Update will address security issues

Playstation 3 Xbox 360 PC News FPS Activision

Although Modern Warfare 2 has been surpassed by its younger acolyte, Black Ops, Activision has apparently not forgotten the game.  The latest patch for the game has finished production and will soon be available for your hot little hands to download.  This patch will address security issues that have plagued online multi-player.  It will release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.  The forum post also mentions that the update will “address a small geo exploit on the map Fuel, which players exploited in order to get inside a rock on the outskirts of the map.”  As soon as we find out a date of release, we will let you know

I love how they say ‘small geo exploit on the map Fuel’.

It was not small, it effectively shutdown half of the map due to morons hiding in the rock that were basically invincible.

9 months later they decide to fix it. They must have finished counting their money and had some free time.

    • its been so long i’m suprissed they are fixing anything. Black ops did a good job of reducing hacks. And they are straight onto glitches.

Just don’t think it’s a high priority of theirs, obviously been busy developing black ops and trying to fix the amount of bugs with that.

  • i wonder if they are going to patch the infectable xp dvar????
