Capcom Super NES (Famicom) legendary beat-’em-up, Final Fight 2 sees professional-wrestler-turned-Metro-City-mayor Mike Haggar return to dishing out his special form of justice against the Mad Gear Gang.

In the 800-Wii-point title ($8 ), Haggar teams up with Maki and Carlos to bring the brawl to Asia. Final Fight 2 accommodates play for up to two.

Final Fight is fairly priced for such a classic game.  Make sure you download your copy this week from Nintendo Wii shop.

New from creative strategist for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 over at Infinity Ward : Robert Bowling announced via Twitter today that Xbox Avatar will be coming.

Tweet Post : “not sure we’ll be doing any Avatar rewards, but we are making avatar items. With some free ones hopefully.”

At least we have some free stuff .. which is always great.  Let’s see what cool stuff infinity ward will share with us.  Hopefully we’ll be able to unlock some nice little accessories.  I want a SNIPER or some sort of gun .. I don’t really care 😛

G’day Boy & Girls.

It’s taken a little bit of time but I’ve finally taken pictures of all the Capcom related stuff I managed to collect and buy over in Japan/Tokyo/TGS and most importantly .. AKIHABARA !! 😉  – LOVE THAT PLACE

I also have a number of other cool stuff, not capcom related but still very very cool. (Games and Collectable video game membrabilia as well)  Which I bought and will be posting later on in the week.  Once I have the time to scratch myself.  There is never enough time in the day to get everything sorted.

Just bear with me and I’ll have them up hopefully within the next few days. But for now please enjoy the new additions to my Capcom Collection Family 🙂

Uncharted 2 – 2nd BEST Game of all time on the PS3 .. For now

This straight from the Horses mouth.  Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves on the Playstation 3 developed by Naughty Dog has jumped all the way to 2nd best game of all time on the Playstation 3 according to Metacritic.com

Check out it out below .. So far the highest rating game of all time on the Playstation 3 is Grand Theft Auto 4 with a score of 98 – this based on 64 critic reviews

Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves could potentially topple the top dog off its throne.  Currently Uncharted 2 has a metacritic score of 97 based on 41 critic reviews

So if another 20 or so more critics review Uncharted 2 and give it a score better than 98 or above, we could be looking at the best game on the Playstation 3 of all time.

Who’s willing to place their money on this happening ?? I’d throw in a few dollars as I believe it’s got what it takes to topple GTA4 off its perch as king of the mountain !!

Only time will tell..

This one is one my of favorites !! Leon and Claire get to meet up with ADA Wong.  It’s very eerie and a little scary.  I can’t wait to get my hands on this.  Multiplayer is going to be very fun.

Retro Gamer Drive (Konami Code NES Controller Flash Drive)

You gotta check this out .. anyone who has a love for old school gaming ProtoDojo has modified the original Nintendo controller into a flash memory drive with an a twist!

When connected to the computer the data is by default blocked. Only after the user enters the classic “30 lives” cheat code (Up,Up,Down,Down,Left,Right,Left,Right,B ,A) of the original NES game contra, will the drive be unlocked and appear on the computer.

Halo ODST sells 2.5 Million copies in the first 2 weeks

Bungie’s Halo 3: ODST sold 2.5 million copies in its first two weeks.

USA Today reports that overall sales reached $125 million in revenue so far. “That’s pretty good for a game that most called an ‘expansion pack,'” said Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter.

The original Halo 3 did $170 M on its first day of business, eventually amounting to $300 million during the first week on sale.

For being a simple expansion pack Bungie and Microsoft have generated huge sales.  It seems that anything with HALO in its title is guaranteed to make millions 😉

This year we commissioned design collective the Alaskan Military School to produce an animation package to communicate the ethos of the event. We recently launched a series of viral spots that are the first part of this collection of new work. They each take one of our favourite games at GameCity HQ and translate them into a 15 pixel grid. It’s Hyper pixel minimalism! We realised that you can communicate the essence of great, iconic games with minimal visual information. I think this approach echoes the values of the festival, to take a sideways look at games, and foster a creative space.
