Guilty Crown is set to make it’s debut in this upcoming Fall 2011 anime season. Ahead of it’s premiere it has been announced that a PC game adaptation of the series is already in the works.
The series which is being produced by Production I.G. is a post apocalyptic series in which teenage survivors discover that they have supernatural powers. With these new found powers they set out to take down a mysterious organisation that has taken over the world post apocalypse.
The PC game adaptation is going to be handled by Nitroplus and will feature an original story set within the same world as the anime series. No other details have been revealed thus far.
Red Dead Redemption has had quite a few DLC packs released since it came out. At least one more piece of DLC is also scheduled to come out soon. According to a BBFC listing (since pulled down), Rockstar is planning to re-release the game. A “Game of the Year” edition is listed for September 16. So far, only the Undead Nightmare pack is confirmed to be a part of the GOTY game, but hopefully every piece of the downloadable will be included. With any luck, Legends and Killers, Liars and Cheats, and Hunting and Trading will all be included into a $40 package like many other GOTY editions that have been released.

Sentai Filmworks have announced that they have aqcuired the license for two sci-fi mini features – Coicent and Five Numbers. Both of which are produced by Sunrise in Japan.
Coicent and Five Numbers were released in a package together in Japan and it is likely that Sentai will be giving the sci-fi mini features the same treatment when they bring it to Western shores.
Both Coicent and Five Numbers do not have an official release date other than the vague “later this year”. However it has been confirmed that they will be released with an English dub and of course an original Japanese audio track on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
Sentai have also posted synopsis of both features through a press release.
Coicent:
First, it’s a quick time jump to the 26th century where a school trip to a rebuilt 21st century city turns into a wild adventure for teenage Shinichi. While chasing a talking deer that steals his bag, he runs into a strange girl trying to elude even stranger pursuers, and then things get wild. It’s a mad dash through a city of the past as two young people discover a chance at a new future in COICENT.
Five Numbers:
Four people awake to find themselves in the ultimate prison: an ex-soldier, a beautiful woman, an average Joe and a young computer hacker. Why are they there? What connection links them together? And how can they escape? The answer seems to lie with the fifth prisoner, an old man who knows far more than he is telling. And then there’s the cat. It’s the ultimate locked room mystery and all their lives hinge on solving it in FIVE NUMBERS.
This is looking to be another in a line of great releases from Sentai Filmworks. Please leave a comment letting us know what you think.
Ubisoft have now confirmed that the PS3 version of Child of Eden will feature Move Support. Shocked? Neither were we. While this feature was pretty much a given since Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s visual masterpiece was announced for the Playstation 3, it is still nice to know that owners of the console will have that option to dive in with motion controls, much like the Kinect version of the game. Even more interesting with this announcement is the inclusion of “Full Stereoscopic 3D”, which should make the gameplay even more immersive than it’s Xbox 360 counterpart.
Ubisoft have also released a few details for the PS3 release of Child of Eden, which elaborate a bit more about how the Move controllers will work into the gameplay and how the 3D will actually make a difference:
Key features of Child of Eden (PlayStation 3):
Multi-sensory effect: A visionary entertainment experience that synchronizes stunning graphics and innovative sound design to electrify the senses. By bringing physics in synergy with spectacular visuals and audio, Child of Eden is the next-generation sensory experience. The PlayStation 3 version goes even further by offering the experience in full stereoscopic 3D.
The world of Eden: Coming straight from Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s creative mind: a unique, surprising, rich and beautiful world.
Controls: Simple and natural. Designed for standard controllers and the PlayStation Move for the PS3. The PlayStation Move captures a full range of motion giving you ultimate control over how you play the game. There are other added bonuses, like the ability to hook up multiple controllers for added sensory effects.
You can experience the PS3 version of Child of Eden when it launches on September 20th.
Since E3, we haven’t heard too much about Double Fine’s upcoming Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster, which will feature full Kinect support. A new trailer has now been revealed that shows exactly how the game will work, with a new scripted family coming together to play with Elmo and the Cookie Monster.
Poor actors aside, if the motions that these kids in the trailer are actually read by the device, I can easily say that this may be a pretty decent romp for the younger gamers out there. Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster doesn’t launch until later this fall, but you can check out the proud family and their Sesame Street fun in the trailer below.

Earlier today, THQ revealed a nice, meaty roster for the upcoming WWE ’12, which will be released in November. It seems now that a collector’s edition will also be hitting stores along with the standard release, and THQ want you to pick which superstar graces the cover.
Now if you have been watching the WWE in recent months, you should know that The Rock and John Cena already have a main event matched booked for Wrestlemania XVIII. To go with this theme, fans will now get to decide via the Official Facebook page for WWE ’12 whether they want the “People’s Edition”, featuring The Rock, or “The Champ’s Edition”, which will of course feature John Cena. As a WWE fan that is tired of seeing Cena on every piece of merchandise, I have already cast my vote for The Rock, and it is looking like many of the fans are agreeing with my decision based on the near 5000 vote lead the Brauma Bull has over Cena.
You can cast your own vote on the official page here, and once some of the actual contents are revealed for this set, we will be sure to bring you an update.
The Naruto manga has been one of the most succesful series ever to come out of Japan. After 12 years of publication in Weekly Shonen Jump, could the worldwide hit manga series be coming to a conclusion?
The current arc in the manga is known as the Fourth Great Shinobi War Arc. This arc has been shaping up for quite a while and what it’s forming is something so huge it’s hard to believe that there could be a continuation after this arc is resolved. In fact, the conclusion of this arc could quite potentially also mean the conclusion of the series as a whole.
With so many storylines coming to a head, there is definitely a feeling that everything that has occured so far in the series is reaching it’s natural culmination. Whether it be the truth of the Uchiha massacre that Sasuke mourned over for so long or the recent revelation about Naruto’s parents, we are starting to uncover many answers that have been sought after since the series begun.
Could this be a sign of the series reaching it’s end? Perhaps. But as it stands now, there has yet to be an official confirmation. However with so many plotlines fastly approaching there conclusions, one can only wonder whether the Naruto manga’s ending is on the horizon. One thing is for sure, whether ther series continues past this arc or not. The coming chapters are going to be nothing short of amazing.
What do you think? Is Naruto nearing it’s end? Leave a comment below letting us know your thoughts.
