Activision has revealed today that Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD’s Revert DLC Pack has been delayed and will be releasing sometime in early December. The game’s official page on Facebook said:

No exact release date has been given but, you can expect one in the upcoming weeks.
343 Industries has finally revealed their plans for the competitive skill rank system that Halo 4 will include. They first went and confirmed that Halo 4 will not be launching with a skill based ranking system. As for actual specifications, they revealed that the new ranking system will launch in early 2013 via title update and you will be able to view the  competitive skill rank on Halo Waypoint. The ranks will be available on all forms of Halo Waypoint no matter what device you are using to access it.
At Halo 4’s launch, the competitive skill system will measure your performance against other players in Halo 4 War Games and use this information to match you up against opponents of comparable skill ranks. When the CSR system is fully implemented post-launch, Waypoint will assign each player a visible and detailed Skill Rank, viewable in the player profile section of Halo Waypoint.
All playlists will include the competitive skill rank system so you will be able to play your favorite game type and get assigned a CSR from anywhere in the range of 1-50. Also, it has been said that they currently don’t know if they will keep your players statistics or if they will reset everyone’s statistics and start fresh.
Greetings fellow summoners! Zed has been revealed quite quickly after popping up in our radar in his sneak peek. How very ninja of him! Let’s take a look at Zed’s unique assassin abilities, and delve into the lore behind the master ninja.
Abilities
Contempt for the Weak (Passive): Whenever Zed attacks an enemy below 50% Health, he deals an additional 8% of their maximum Health as magic damage. This effect has a short cooldown.
Razor Shuriken: Zed and his shadow both throw their shurikens, dealing physical damage to any target they pass through. Each Shuriken deals less damage to targets beyond the first.
Living Shadow: Zed’s shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for a short duration. Zed’s shadow will duplicate his spells. Activating Living Shadow again while his shadow is active will cause Zed to switch positions with his shadow. If both Zed and his shadow strike the same target with Razor Shurikens or Shadow Slash, Zed regains some energy and the target suffers an additional effect: Razor Shurikens deal additional bonus damage and the slow from Shadow Slash is dramatically increased.
Shadow Slash: Zed and his shadow both create a burst of shadow, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies. Zed’s Shadow Slash slightly reduces the cooldown of Living Shadow by for each unit struck. The shadow’s Shadow Slash briefly slows enemies.
Death Mark: Zed sinks into the shadows and dashes to his target, dealing physical damage. He also spawns a Living Shadow beyond the target, which duplicates his spells and marks the target. After 3 seconds, the mark will detonate, dealing physical damage based on the damage dealt to the target by Zed and his shadow while the mark was active. Zed can reactivate this ability to switch positions with this shadow.
Lore
Orphaned at a young age, Zed was taken in and trained by a master ninja. As time past Zed grew stronger and was unequaled by all students except for one – the master’s son Shen. In every duel they battled, no winner was declared. Enraged by his inability to defeat Shen in combat, Zed went to the temple to seek greater power. He happened upon a strange box that emanated a foreboding power. Knowing that he should not dare touch the object, Zed went against moral teachings and peered into the box. Shadows appeared in front of him and presented Zed with knowledge of dark arts kept secret for 200 years.
On their next meeting, Zed defeated Shen with his newly acquired powers. Zed thought his performance warranted praise and excitement from his peers and master, but the master knew the evil that followed Zed’s new-found powers. Shen’s father then banished Zed for his use of the dark magic. Still a young boy, he wandered along with the shadows and worked to perfect his craft. Zed grew powerful in the darkness and brought others into his circle of shadows. Once he saw that his circle grew into an army, he knew that he must have control of the box once more to perfect his teachings. Upon arriving to his old village, Zed met his old master at the gates waiting for him. The old man professed his wrongdoing in banishing Zed and letting the dark shadows lead him away from a world of balance. He then directed Zed to take his army into the temple and destroy the evil box to restore the balance to his life. Zed follow his former master’s steps and walked in to sacred temple.
After a few moments, a resounding scream of pain was heard. Those outside figured this to be Zed’s voice but noticed as he walked out that he wasn’t physically hurt. However, the crowd quickly gathered that the item Zed was holding was their dear master’s head. The evil ninja threw the head of his former master down the steps of the temple and ordered his followers to kill anyone who stood against him. Zed quickly overcame the defending ninjas but was unable to take out his nemesis Shen. In a courageous effort, Shen led a remaining few to safety away from the now corrupted temple.
Zed now leads the temple as the Order of Shadow’s master. His order follows a simple edict: “perfect one’s technique, and kill all ninjas who refuse to embrace the shadows.”

We’ve seen plenty of Hitman: Absolution footage over the last few months and today Square Enix and Io Interactive have another video for us and this time around it explains how the world of Hitman: Absolution is living and breathing around you.
While some games may be able to say they have such a thing, this trailer shows that Hitman: Absolution may just have been able to pull it off as these characters are actually voiced and appear to have lives of their own rather than just a mundane set of tasks to keep repeating while you are nearby. The trailer can be seen below while Hitman: Absolution can be picked up on November 20th for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Today Marvelous AQL released some new screenshots for Muramasa: The Demon Blade on the PlayStation Vita. All of these screenshots can be seen below and in them we see how stellar the game is going to look on the PlayStation Vita.
In case you may have forgotten, Muramasa: The Demon Blade will contain four new protagonists, four brand new scenarios and voice acting. At the moment there has been no word of Muramasa: The Demon Blade being released over in North America but the game is meant to be released in Japan on March 28th next year.
It seems that Tecmo Koei may have found themselves a better protagonist than Ryu because if the trailer released today is anything to go by, Ayane will be a much funner character to play than Ryu ever was. Don’t believe me? Then check out the action found in the trailer below and see for yourself.
As you may already know, or at least will now, Ayane will be playable in the Wii U exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and she will also have her very own chapters to play through as well as a chance to play as her in any of the game’s original story missions. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be one of the launch titles for the Wii U when it is released on November 18th.
While most of us were out celebrating Halloween there were plenty of spooky things happening at Undead Labs, so many in fact that they have put together a new gameplay video which shows off a rather basic, but believable stealth mechanic.
In the video below you can see how the player uses some homemade firecrackers to distract a horde of zombies from a place where supplies may be hiding. What little we have seen of State of Decay has been promising and with it being designed as an open world zombie game, hopes are high. Currently there is no release date for State of Decay though the company is aiming for a release on the PC and Xbox 360.
While most of the world has had to deal with the new PlayStation Store layout, PlayStation 3 owners in North America have been able to avoid this update thanks to various unexplained issues. However that freedom has ended because the PlayStation Store revamp is now available in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil.
This redesign includes a number of filters, a new look and various streaming features. So how are you liking the new updated look of the PlayStation Store? Is it better than the previous one or are you finding it a more complicated and slower than it was before?
