Although many of the games that Nintendo revealed during their E3 2017 spotlight may not be coming out until 2018 they did manage to announce the release window for a game many fans have been eager to see more of, Super Mario Odyssey. The Switch title will be releasing on October 27th and alongside plenty of gameplay footage, that you can check out below, a number of gameplay features have been detailed.
Players will control Mario as he goes on a globe-trotting 3D adventure to collect Moons that will be used to power up his airship, called the Odyssey, to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding. With the help of his new friend, Cappy, Mario can “capture” all types of items including various objects and enemies that he will then be able to control.
