Sentai Filmworks Acquires ‘Ajin: Demi-Human’

Just a few hours ago, Sentai Filmworks announced that it has licensed the horror anime series Ajin: Demi-Human. Their rights cover video-on-demand sales and home video distribution in North America. The television anime will be released on DVD and Blu-ray soon. The home video release will come with exclusive special content and extras.

Polygon Pictures produced all anime adaptations of Gamon Sakurai’s manga series of the same name, eight volumes of which have been released in English in North America by Vertical Comics. In addition to the 26-episode television anime, there have also been two OVA discs released in Japan, with a third one following in a few months, and a trilogy of 3DCG films.
