Nintendo Australia sure know how to throw a MONSTER of a party.  With the release of Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3 TRI nearly upon us.  A group of great warriors were selected to embark on a journey and travel across the sea on the back of a giant turtle to mysterious Cockatoo Island, in Sydney Australia where  danger, adventure and MONSTERS awaited !!

Step inside the cave brave Warrior and experience the world of MONSTER HUNTER 3 TRI !!!

The fine people at Nintendo, hosted a fantastic event on behalf of Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3 TRI which will be available in Australia on 29th of April exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.  All the brave warriors who entered the Monster Hunter cave got to experience first hand all the excitement and danger in the world of Monster Hunter 3 TRI.  

Nintendo showcased all the great new features within the game with a fantastic 20 minute presentation.  Once that was out of the way the mighty warriors were allowed to Hunt down the wild monsters themselves, testing out the great features & multiplayer that the game has to offer.  Monster Hunter 3 TRI allows for unparalleled co–op gameplay, both online and offline.  Hunting can be performed with up to three other players online or two players offline in Arena Mode.  A great feature in Arena Mode is you’ll have the ability to save your character’s information to the Wii Remote directly so you’re always ready to play anywhere you go !!

MasterAbbott was able to get an exclusive preview of Monster Hunter 3 TRI in action with Nintendo’s Jamie Wilson providing a detailed rundown of all the new features within the game.  Check out the video below:

Monster Hunter 3 TRI will be available on the 29th of April as a standalone game or in a bundle with the new Classic Controller PRO (which comes in black)  Price for the standalone will be $79.99 AUD and $99.99 AUD for the bundle.  The Classic Controller Pro’s more traditional control configuration will give gamers the ultimate monster hunting experience. 

Capsule Computers would like to thank the great people at Nintendo for organizing such a fantastic event.  The fine warriors were provided with an abundance of food and beverage and even a Monster Hunter swag bag full of goodies to take home. 

In the end all the Warriors made it out of the cave alive and in one piece, leaving the mysterious Cockatoo Island on the back of the Giant turtle they all made it to the main land and back to their loving families who were eagerly awaiting their triumphant return

Capcom have announed the final piece of the Super Street Fighter IV puzzle.  Meet HAKAN !!

He likes to get all oiled up, down and dirty. Hakan is an oil wrestler hailing from Turkey. Using lubricant to assist in his battles, this slippery character brings some of the most insane moves and ultra combos to the series.

Super Street Fighter IV will be out on April 30th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with 10 new characters, new Ultra combos, new stages, the return of bonus rounds and beefed-up online modes (including the free tournament mode DLC after launch).  Also make sure you have Pre-ordered your copy as the are some ULTRA-COOL-COMBO goodies to go with it when you do

Recently Capcom has released 2 DLC add-ons and 2 costume packs for Resident Evil 5.

You could buy them all separately for about $14, or you could buy the Gold Edition of the game which includes the DLC codes for much more money.

BUT WAIT!
Now there is a cheaper alternative. Buy the ‘Untold Stories Bundle’ and receive both DLC add-ons (Lost in Nightmares, and Desperate Escape) as well as both costume packs for as low as 960MSP (12$) on the Xbox 360, or $12.50 on the PS3.

Why does the Ps3 bundle cost $0.50 more? I don’t know, but if i had to guess, it has something to do with Sony Charging more for Capcom to put the bundle on the Playstation network.

Great news from Capcom the second DLC episode for Resident EVIL 5 is out : Desperate Escape is available now on Xbox Live and will be available March 4th on Playstation Network

This latest addition to the Resident Evil storyline pairs Jill Valentine and Josh Stone in another harrowing lost chapter. Freed of a mind control device, a fatigued Jill has collapsed. Awaken by BSAA agent Josh Stone, Jill and Josh work together to escape from the Tricell facility under the darkness of night. Players will fight-off unrelenting waves of enemies, guiding Jill and Josh as they race to assist Chris and Sheva in their final showdown with Albert Wesker. If you download Desperate Escape you will also get to play in Mercenaries Reunion as Josh Stone and Rebecca Chambers, rookie S.T.A.R.S. member.

Not content with just releasing Desperate Escape, the second costume pack which features Chris Redfield’s “Heavy Metal” costume and Sheva Alomar’s “Business” outfit is also available to download. You can take your newly clothed Chris and Sheva into the Mercenaries Reunion mode too!

We have some great news for Super Street Fighter IV fans.  Earlier today Capcom Europe twittered the following :

Now there is not much details apart from whats written above.  But we can see there are 4 SUPER COOL iPhone covers.  I have an iPhone !! I love Street Fighter !!! I WANT ONE … well I want all of them if possible   We next have unlockable or alternate costumes which would be provided to you via unlock codes, this is always good as it makes playing with your favourite character even more enjoyable.  Finally we have limited edition t-shirts.  Now these are big time collector items.  Only 2 of 4 are shown which are RYU’s Gee and Guiles Army uniform.  I’m betting that the other two would be Chun-Li’s uniform and possibly Ken’s red Gee.  But who knows we might be Blanka’s hairy chest or Sagats torso with his scar… Who knows but these cool little pre-order goodies are great.

Only problem is we don’t have much else to work with.  We’ll do our best to keep you in formed as best we can once we find out more information.  Best best is check back tomorrow and once we got the information rush down to probably Gamestop or the Capcom Online store and pre-order Super Street Fighter IV straight away !!   I know i’ll be.  I want the shirt and the iPhone cover !! I’ve been waiting so long for one a decent cover for my iPhone and now I can get one as a bonus for simply Pre-ordering the best Fighting gaming on the planet … SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV !!
