MasterAbbott

My names Phil : but most people call me MasterAbbott. I’ve been a huge fan of gaming since the age of 3, when my dad bought me first ever gaming console.

The CBS Colecovision.. The rival to the Atari 2600 at the time. The first game ever played on the CBS was a game similar to Pac Man called Mouse Trap, many hours were lost playing that great game. With my growing hunger for gaming I dont ever think I will ever tier of this amazing and enjoyable and hugely popular industry.

I believe I will always be a gamer till the day he die. I’m now in my mid 30’s .. Yes Yes no old people jokes .. ;) Over the years of gaming I’ve come in contact with nearly every gaming console that was released in Australia .. I’ve collected and still have a very nice assortment of old school gaming consoles, games and arcade machines. Right up to the latest next gen ones.

I have recently decided to express my passion to the world and create a Video Game site that covers everything that is video games.  From latest news, video reviews and interviews from leading gaming developers on all platforms.

I cover everything that is gaming from the Xbox 360 all the way back to the Commodore 64.

If you find my reviews enjoyable and entertaining subscribe to my personal Twitter along with Capsule Computers as well : http://www.twitter.com/capsulecomputer

All feedback is also greatly appreciated, email me at :  info@capsulecomputers.com.au  :  I always reply to everyone.

Thank you and welcome :)

G’day Everyone IT’s ME DuraRoc !!

I am a relatively new gamer and play for fun.  I had a Atari 2600 and Sega Master System, Game Boy when I was young, but I didn’t have many games as my parent really couldn’t afford it.  When I could afford to buy them, I found going out, buying drinks a far better use for that money.

Anyway, had an Xbox360 since the Aussie launch on the 22nd 2006!  That poor thing died 3 times from the RROD and is now with a friend  .  This is my gaming console and DVD movie watching.

Also have a PS3 – use it exclusively for Blu Ray – still nearly a year later have not put a game disk into that machine.  The newest addition to the household is a Wii.  Kids play this more than me, but I like to have a good once in a while, this is more our family playtime console.

My other true love gadget is my HTC Touch HD running Windows Mobile 6.5.  It is brilliant and sexy (like me of course), and I use it as a phone, watch movies, update twitter and listen to radio every now and again.  I am also a bit partial to Solitaire!

Anyway, you can catch me on Twitter DuraRoc or email on duracell88@hotmail.com – drop me a message anytime.

Hello Everyone, the name is Travis.

To say it simply, and currently am working on a degree in zoology, but on my off time I’m playing the Xbox 360, where you will find me at Wolvespack88.  I’ve been playing games since I was 5 year years old and I first played a Super Nintendo system, and have played on every console since then.    Occasionally I’ll take a break from the great games of today, to play some of the greats of gaming history.

I play everything from console games to MMORPG’s.  My favorite online game, is Ragnarok Online.  Unfortunately I have never stepped foot into World of Warcraft, and I don’t have plans to.   And to say the least there are many other great PC games.

I am a huge fan of achievements and will go out of my way in nearly any game to work on getting at least half of the achievments.  The only time I don’t bother with them, is when they add together ridiculous amounts of online achievements for games that no longer have a following online.  In other words, I am a major achievement w#$%^, though I do try to stay away from games that make easy 1k gamerscores.
I love games, so I decided to start reviewing games so I can share my thoughts with other gamers who are looking for  whether or not they should give a game a try.

Hello, people!

My name is Dylan Radcliffe (No, I am not related to Daniel Radcliffe). You can call me Radic, Radical, or Dylan; it’s all good. I couldn’t let MasterAbbott have the only picture with a weapon in it, so I pulled out one of my katanas and had my girlfriend take the picture. In your face MasterAbbott!

I’ve been gaming since I was 6 years old. My uncle started me off by giving me a GameBoy (yes, that big fat grey one) and my first game “Skate or Die”, from there my passion kicked off. I’ve owned pretty much every console and handheld system out there. Except for Sony consoles, I don’t like them. For some reason I get super mad when I see a PlayStation and thus never bought one.

Aside from gaming I am currently working towards my degree in computer science with an emphasis on game programming. You’ll be seeing indie games from me eventually and I’m extremely generous so I’ll give out tons for free.

I began writing reviews and game related articles during my English Composition classes in college. I discovered that a slight format alteration can turn a game review into a fully fledged discussion paper and from there I haven’t stopped writing them. Discussing a video game is easier and more fun than discussing the legal court system (That was an actual topic my teacher suggested to me).

You can follow me on twitter at  RadicalDylan .

 Hi ya’ll!

My name is Judy, and I’ve been playing video games since the early 80s. My very first game was “Quest for tires” on the C64. I loved it! That’s what got me started I guess. Since I didn’t have a C64 of my own I mostly played when I was with friends, so I honestly can’t remember what else we always played, but there were a lot of different games for sure. However I stopped playing PC games after a while and switched to consoles, because I preferred controllers. And It’s more comfortable to sit on the sofa playing in front of a (huge) TV than at the desk with a tiny computerscreen. But I guess…that’s a different discussion ;) .

On the PlayStation my favorite game was Tekken3. I hammered those buttons for hours with my sister and my friends. It was great and very addictive. One day I visited a friend and he had a computer game called “HALO”. I played it although I didn’t like palying at computers anymore but I loved it. So – when the first Xbox was available bundled with HALO here in Germany  I bought it.  This was the day my love for the Xbox was born. There was a second game in that bundle back then which was “Midtown Madness 3″ . Usually I don’t like racing games, but that one was so funny and easy to play, (and I like Washington DC btw) that I played it also for hours.

Now of course I have the Xbox360. My preferred games are shooters such as all HALOs, Gears of War, Call of Duty etc. and RPGs like Mass Effect, Fallout3, Two Worlds. On the old Xbox I liked “Knights of the Old Republic” very much.

As I said, for some reason I don’t like racing games, I guess cause I’m just better at shooting than at driving ;) , but what I also like once in a while is Guitar Hero and Rock Band. But NOT SingStar. You better run if you hear me singing, though people say that I actually perform quite well when I’m drunk… ButI guess it’s better to not take that risk.

Oh I love my iPhone, too its great little portable entertainment device.

Aside from gaming I’m working in a hospital mixing poison. Or something like that.

You can follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com/ChiefJudy or check out my blog   www.chiefjudy.com   though most of it is in german and you probably won’t understand it, sorry. Here I’m writing in english of course ;) .

Have fun gaming ya’ll !!

I guess there is really only one way to accurately describe myself. My entire personality, writing style, and ethical code can be succinctly summed up in a simple, four word phrase:

I hate you all.

Now, I may not have ever met you or know anything about you, and I don’t care to. All I know is probabilities, and chances are good that I hate you and all that you stand for. “But Scott, why do you write for an audience that you hate? In fact, if you hate everyone and everything in existence, why write at all? Hell, why even continue breathing?”

For two reasons: 1) Some people and things, I hate a little bit less then I hate everything else, and 2) because like any normal human being, I have a tendency towards self preservation. Also, in death, there are no video games. And that is just NOT ACCEPTABLE.

So I write, and as every dime-a-dozen “How to Write a Bestselling Novel in 30 Days!” piece of crap writing how-to book will tell you to do, I write what I know. And I know two things, spite and gaming, and I like to think I do so rather well.

The facts and figures of my life are none of your goddamn business, but as this is an ‘About’ section, I suppose I am obliged to give you some general information. I attend Bellevue College in Washington, USA, majoring in I-don’t-know-yet-so-stop-asking. I had my first article published on Xbox.com in 2005 at the age of 13, and have been playing games since I was 4, starting with Torin’s Passage (Al Lowe for kids). I have owned an original Gameboy (and all Gameboy iterations other then the Color and SP), N64, PS1, SEGA Genesis, Xbox, 360, and still play games on the PC.

I currently write for my school newspaper, PlatformNation.com, and obviously, Capsule Computers. I also have a blog at www.scooterbeast.com.

Now go away, I have work to do.
