With Konami announcing a full blown remake of Snake Eater fans of Metal Gear Solid were already quite pleased but with no release window many were left a bit disappointed. Thankfully Konami has something else to tide these fans over as the company has announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 for release sometime this fall. No platforms were announced at the moment but this reveal did happen during PlayStation’s broadcast so expect at least a PlayStation 5 release of this collection.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will offer Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in one package and no price or plans of individual releases were revealed. That being said, the company did state that the latter two games will be the “HD Collection” versions of the game and have released screenshots showing off each of the three games below.
