Exciting New Trailers for SunnySide, Smalland and Time on Frog Island Showcased at GDC
Upcoming Merge Games titles debut in San Francisco
Manchester, UK – 23rd March, 2022. Merge Games has released three new exciting trailers for narrative-driven farming and life sim SunnySide, multiplayer survival game Smalland and sandbox puzzle adventure game Time on Frog Island during their showcase in San Francisco during GDC.
SunnySide is a narrative-driven farming and life sim, with elements of combat and exploration sprinkled in. You’ve just purchased your first plot of land in an aging post town in the heart of the Japanese countryside. Now it’s up to you to create a homestead to be proud of. Build your new life and modernize your farming experience with new technology, grow crops, care for livestock and utilize technology to tend to your farm for you. Build the life you want, from your avatar, your homestead and your phone screen, to your buildings, layouts and decorations. Become a part of the community and form new bonds, join groups, attend events, and maybe even find someone special to share your days with. SunnySide will be launching for PC, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch in 2022 and is developed by RainyGames.

Smalland is an open-world, survival, online-multiplayer, adventure game set in a familiar environment in which players have been shrunk down to the size of a tiny insect. Starting their journey at the bottom of the food chain, players must survive by foraging for resources, crafting, and exploring seemingly abandoned locations now reclaimed by nature. As players progress, they will be able to create powerful armor, weapons and even be able to tame critters into mounts allowing them to take on even greater challenges. Collaborating with other players, the ultimate goal is to survive, while taking down the world largest and fearsome creatures.

Time on Frog Island is an exciting new sandbox puzzle adventure game where a sailor is shipwrecked on a strange island after a terrible storm and he awakes to find his boat in ruins. Clutching his precious potted plant, the sea dog goes about trying to fix his boat and find his way home. However, the peculiar frog-like locals don’t speak his language and they aren’t about to give up the items he needs without something in exchange! A spaghetti network of trades will take him all over this strange island as he seeks out materials to fix his boat. Meet a cast of friendly characters, solve head-scratching puzzles, find hidden treasures, and much more as you explore this toadally awesome island sandbox adventure. Time on Frog Island will be launching on PC, Xbox One, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch in summer 2022 and is developed by Half Past Yellow.

Merge Games is also excited to announce that preview code for Time on Frog Island is now available for PC. The preview build will transport you to the wonderful world of Frog Island where you can get some early hands-on time with this loveable sandbox puzzle adventure game.
