Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water Arrives on Consoles and PC October 28

Fans of the Fatal Frame series will be happy to hear that the most recent release in the series will be making its way to a number of new platforms as Koei Tecmo has announced that they will be releasing Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water digitally on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 28th. This marks the first time that the game has been released on other platforms after it was originally released on the Wii U in 2014.

Those who pre-order or purchase Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water within two weeks of launch will net themselves a special Ryza costume for the main characters and a digital deluxe edition will also be released alongside a standard version of the game and will include the game, digital art book, and six costumes inspired from previous characters in the series.

To go alongside the release of the game the company released a new trailer, a handful of screenshots, as well as some details regarding the unlockable costumes that players can obtain in the game, which are as follows: Yuri’s “Punk Ensemble,” “Cutesy Goth Ensemble (Black),” “Swimsuit (Blue),” and the “Triathlon Suit,” as well as Miu’s “Miku Hinasaki Outfit (The Tormented),” “Cutesy Goth Ensemble (White),” “Swimsuit (Yellow),” and “Swimsuit (Pink),” along with Ren’s “Groom’s Outfit.”
