It’s a no-brainer, enjoyment in the workplace promotes greater engagement, and making time for play not only promotes creativity, innovation, and stronger relationships but boosts productivity. That’s why Red Bull is keen to inject some fun into the office and give workers wings after a challenging 2020.
Red Bull has launched the interactive Red Bull Office Games – which aims to help workers to stay on their A-Game, feel re-energised to power through the afternoon lag and improve team connectivity.
When we play we allow ourselves to discover something new and stimulate our imaginations, which also leads to better problem solving skills, according to research by BrightHR with Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health, Manchester University, Sir Cary Cooper.
The It Pays to Play report explored the indisputable link between psychological well being and overall productivity. “In this report, we found that taking part in fun activities at work has a positive effect on the level of employees’ psychological wellbeing – leading to higher productivity, lower sickness levels and increased creativity,” the report says.
With less time face-to-face in 2020, the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and still be productive is key, according to Red Bull.
Red Bull is inviting workers to create a team, invite colleagues, and play one (or all three!) Red Bull Office Games for a chance to claim their ‘wings’. From there, they tap their way to the top of the leaderboard with their team’s help to be awarded Office Champion and win the ultimate experience for your workplace. The teams that are placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd, on each game, by 11:59pm August 31, 2021 will win:
- 1st prize – The Ultimate Red Bull Office Party – an experience for your workplace including after work drinks and a Red Bull DJ at your office, plus some other surprises.
- 2nd prize – An inspirational talk for your team – A high-performance coach from the World of Red Bull will visit the office to give you tips to boost productivity, plus a Red Bull Cooler with six months’ supply.
- 3rd Prize – Red Bull for the office – A Red Bull Cooler with three months’ supply to help keep everyone energised.
