NEW DLC CHALLENGERS AND FREE STORY UPDATE NOW AVAILABLE FOR CAPTAIN TSUBASA: RISE OF NEW CHAMPIONS
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today announced that the third set of DLC characters, along with a free story update, are now available for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.
The Character Pass welcomes three renowned challengers as playable characters—Pepe, a talented youth from Brazil known for his signature Wild Shot; Xiao Junguang, a Chinese player with a unique ability to counter even the most powerful shots; and Taichi Nakanishi, a goalie who boasts a near-impossible combination of size and speed. These newcomers are now available through the Character Pass for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via STEAM.
The latest free story update brings a new story chapter to Episode: New Hero, in which players will join Hanawa Middle School as a first year student as they rise to greatness representing the Akita Prefecture.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is an action packed arcade-style soccer game that features an exhilarating storyline, over-the-top signature shots, and exciting gameplay. Based on the renowned Captain Tsubasa manga/anime series, the game chronicles the athletic exploits of Tsubasa Ozora as he plays out his love for the game and advances through the ranks of multiple soccer leagues. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is now available on PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via STEAM®.
