KABAM UNLEASHES SHOP TITANS’ FIRST COMMUNITY CRAFTING EVENT – THE KING’S CAPRICE
Third in Series of Monthly In-Game Liveops Events for Shopkeepers Runs from Sept. 10-17
MONTREAL – SEPT. 10, 2020 – An all-new recurring limited-time event has landed in Kabam’s award-winning multi-platform medieval role-playing game Shop Titans known as The King’s Caprice. Starting now through September 17, players will have the opportunity to craft a selection of desired items with their guildmates to win exciting rewards from Shop Titans’ vault of rare and seasonal items. Check out the trailer on YouTube here.
In Shop Titans’ first-ever community event that encourages creative crafting over collective combat, shopkeepers must work together and craft the best items, or item groups, for a unique currency called Antique Shards. By obtaining shards through the event, players can redeem them for long-sought seasonal, holiday, and premium items like blueprints, decorations, walls / floors, and avatar customization options that were previously available at limited times. Antique Shards can also be purchased in packs.
As the third live-ops event introduced to Shop Titans alongside the ‘Lost City of Gold‘ and ‘Tower of Titans‘, player shopkeepers now have a multitude of activities to engage with, both in-and-out of the shop. The King’s Caprice will also run monthly for seven days moving forward, so those that prefer crafting over combat can look forward to extra chances to round out their collection of seasonal, holiday and premium items.
In Shop Titans, players will build up and launch their very own fantasy shop with an extensive item crafting system, and innovative bartering gameplay with customers to secure the best sale price and treasure-seeking quests – all supported with hysterical character-driven banter between your Champions and city Workers. By assembling a team of customizable heroes, players will vicariously explore dungeons and defeat powerful bosses in the pursuit of valuable crafting materials for their stores.
Shop Titans is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is available now as a free-to-play download through the App Store, Google Play and Steam for PC. For more information, please visit Shop Titan’s official website, Facebook and Twitter.
