2K recruited Asuka, Big, E, Cesaro, and Kofi Kingston to try out WWE 2K Battlegrounds in the first every gameplay trailer. The wild tag team match features the digital avatars of classic WWE Superstars like John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Designed to have a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling, 2K hopes to bring in players new to WWE titles and old veterans looking for a new approach to the franchise. The roster will feature a mix of classic WWE stars like Andre the Giant and modern Superstars like Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns. Players can also create their very own character using the Superstar Creator.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an arcade action title coming to Stadia, Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows via Steam on September 18.
