Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption and Takedown at Guardian Breach Announced

2K and Gearbox announced the next pieces of DLC coming to Borderlands 3 on The Borderlands Show. “Takedown at Guardian Breach” will launch first on June 4th. It is a challenging gauntlet that pits four Vault Hunters against a variety of new Guardians, environmental puzzles, and platforming challenges. Those who make it to the end will fight Minos Prime for their chance to collect a variety of new weapons, equipment, and cosmetics.

The next DLC will be Borderlands 3‘s third story campaign DLC. “Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption” will launch on June 25th. This space cowboy themed adventure takes the Vault Hunters to the desert planet of Gehenna, where The Devil Riders are terrorizing the town of Vestige. Our heroes have taken on a bounty to kick the bandits out of town and help rebuild Vestige. Along the way, they will meet a brand new cast of characters, the JetBeast hoverbike, and a variety of interactive objects to help them on their adventures.

The Borderlands Show also had a two smaller announcements. First, Gearbox released a small teaser for the fourth story DLC in the form of some brightly coloured concept art. Finally, the Borderlands Legendary Collection will be launching next week on May 29 for the Switch. The bundle contains Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The package will require a lot of space on the Switch, even with the physical 8 GB cartridge. Borderlands will need a 6.6 GB download while Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will need an additional 35 GB. It’s very likely that those who buy the digital version will also need an additional 8 GB on their Switch.
