NETMARBLE TO DEBUT FAN-FAVORITE ‘NESTS SAGA’ FROM KOF ‘99 IN LONG-AWAITED THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR UPDATE
All-new ‘Baseball’-themed Mini Dungeon and Events Available Alongside New Content
LOS ANGELES – APRIL 9, 2020 – Today, Netmarble released an all-new update for its mobile action role-playing game (RPG) THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR, featuring the long-awaited new set of missions based on the story of THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’99 – the ‘Nests’ Saga.’ Players can also look forward to the arrival of ‘Ash Crimson’, KOF 2003’s main hero.
Netmarble is also debuting the Official Season of Championship Mode, as players can now join the game’s real-time PvP competition to determine who the best and strongest in-game fighter is. In addition to earning prizes just by participating, competitors can expect even more rewards.
Other in-game events debuting in today’s update include:
- Infinite Battle (PvP): Players can fight off opponents, by organizing attack and defense teams using their rosters.
- Team Relay (PvE): Players can form up to 5 teams with their fighters and battle with bosses. Players can redeem powerful fighters among various other items.
- New Characters: Players can now access Lady Big (Mr. Big’s Female Version) as a reward for Shop Mileage, and ’99 Bao, which can be accessed through the Roulette Event.
On April 16, a new bonus ‘baseball season’-themed mini-dungeon involving destroying a huge baseball will open up for players. In addition to this all-new humorous event dungeon, players can look forward to obtaining Baseball Costume Vanessa and Cheerleader Costume Shelmie through the Seasonal Banner. In game prizes can be achieved by completing the Baseball Event Mission and spinning for rewards with the Roulette Event.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR boasts fast-paced fighting action as players battle through waves of enemies, giant bosses and rival fighter teams. The excitement is paired with cutting edge graphics, bold colors, and lightning-fast animations. In addition, this game features all of KOF’s classic fighters from ’94 to XIV, with over 130 fighters available to collect, along with more to come with seasonal events, collaborations with popular IP such as TEKKEN 7, and additional content updates for players to enjoy.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR is available to download on Google Play and the App Store in over 175 countries and comes with support for English, Taiwanese, Indonesian, Thai, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Russian, and German languages.
