Return to the North in Tribes of Midgard’s 2nd Open Beta September 5 – 9

MONTREAL — September 5, 2019 — Tribes of Midgard, the cooperative survival game from Norsfell where up to 10 players fiercely fight Giants during Ragnarök, returns to the glory of Midgard with an all-new open beta September 5.

Take up arms and march forth, friend! What better way to forge everlasting bonds than charging into battle with Giants? Gather old companions or forge new bonds and survive in a world teeming with Norse wonders. Explore the mysteries of Midgard, defend your village and the Seed of Yggdrasil and battle towering Giants hellbent on dethroning the Gods to save all 9 worlds.

This second open beta introduces features focused specifically on the living nature of Tribes of Midgard. No matter how valiant the Viking, death is an inevitability. Thanks to newly persistent skill tree allowing for permanent abilities and class specialization, death is only a temporary setback. The addition of difficulty settings further improves the pick-up-and-play nature of the game. Rise from this death and continue the battle for Midgard. Valhalla awaits!

Tribes of Midgard’s second open beta will be playable on Steam and begins September 5 at 4:00 AM ET and runs until September 9, 11:59 PM ET.

“We keep an active role in our community and our fans have asked for more features, content and time in the next beta,” said Julian Maroda, CEO and Creative Director for Norsfell. “I’m happy to say that we heard them! Players can enjoy new weapons, armor, enemies and much more in this new open beta.”

Tribes of Midgard comes to Steam and consoles 2020. For more information, please visit the official Tribes of Midgard Discord, and follow the game on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram.
