Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Old Everwyrm Trailer and Developer Diary

With Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releasing in a couple of weeks and Gamescom happening right now it only makes sense that Capcom release plenty of new footage for the game as well as a developer diary to give fans a little behind the scenes look at the game. These videos, found below, reveal more info about some of the returning monsters as well as a brand new Elder Dragon by the name of Velkhana.

Also free Guardian Armor set will be provided to all hunters, both Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, as part of an upcoming title update on September 4 in time for the launch of the expansion. This upgradable armor set offers increased defense and skills that help hunters survive in the New World. The buffed armor can be equipped from the beginning of the World game, and is especially geared towards newer hunters to help them progress through the main story.

There is even a feature that will allow higher ranked players to assist lower rank hunters as well as incentives for the community to help others. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is currently set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th with a PC release coming in January 2020.
