A little under a month ago Dragon Star Varnir was announced for release on PC in September but now Idea Factory International has announced that the release date for the game is now set for sometime in October. The reason given by the company is that they are aiming to have “better optimization” for the game when it is released on Steam.
In Dragon Star Varnir players take on the role of Zephy, a knight sworn to hunt witches, who ends up being turned into a witch when two find him on the brink of death. With witches cursed to consume dragon meat that will either see them die once the dragon in their body bursts out or go insane from starvation, the group must find a way to break the curse. It is worth noting that this PC release will include all of the same content and gameplay found in the Japanese release of the game that was slightly altered for console release.
