While we may never get Fallout: New Vegas 2, The Outer Worlds may be the next best thing. Obsidian Entertainment is teaming up with Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, the original creators of Fallout, for the new singleplayer first person RPG. The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in 2019.
The Outer World is set in the edge of the galaxy. Players will take on the role of a colonist who wakes up from deep sleep to discover their colony ship is way off course. After landing at the edge of the colony, player’s arrival throws off the delicate balance of power between the corporations who own the colony. Now, it’s up to the player to decide who will come out on top in this dark and humorous tale.
