11 bit studios and Digital Sun released a brand new Moonlighter trailer. The video shows off the graphical differences between the PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows versions of the game. Based on the video, there is very little perceptible differences between the four platforms. The Switch has the weakest hardware out of the bunch, yet still manages to keep up. No word what resolutions the Switch version will run, but the other three platforms support resolutions of up to 4K.
Moonlighter is set to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on May 29th. Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait until Q3 2018 to get their hack at the game.
Moonlighter is an action RPG with rogue-lite elements. Players take on the role of Will, a shopkeeper and wannabe hero. During the day, players will sell supplies to the adventurers. At night, he’ll restock his shop by venturing into ancient passages and bringing home all that sweet loot.
(16 May 2018) Editor’s Note: According to Digital Sun, all four platforms are exactly the same.
"Based on the video, there is very little perceptible differences between the four platforms" – good to know you've spotted any – because there are no graphical differences, that's the point! 😛
