Soft Launch Brings Game to Canada and Other Countries, with Official, Global Launch Soon to Follow
Seoul, Korea (March 22, 2018) – Netmarble Games Corp., the fastest-growing mobile game company worldwide, today announced the soft launch of its new fishing game for mobile devices, Fishing Strike, on the Apple App Store and Google Play in Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Singapore, Malaysia, and Turkey.
Fishing Strike offers a completely new mobile fishing experience as players travel real-world fishing sites from around the world and engage in a dynamic gameplay between the angler and fish, where the angler’s unique set of skills and equipment allow strategic and exhilarating battles with the fish. It includes around 500 types of fish to catch, 30 anglers to choose from, 6 different regions to explore and a variety of game modes at launch.
The game also features dynamic visuals underwater, supported by a unique Smart View system for fishing in clear waters and allowing players to select the fish they would like to catch. As the first-ever fishing game to support a virtual reality viewing mode and augmented reality technology, players can enjoy viewing the fish they acquire in their own aquarium with a 360 degree camera view, overlaying the fish onto the real world around them through their mobile device’s camera lens.
