Players Can Direct Their Own TV Show and Create Their Ideal Superheroes in this Zany Homage to Saban’s Power Rangers
SANTA CLARA, Calif., (May 19, 2017) — BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., the premier anime videogame publisher, today announced that it has launched Chroma Squad in the Americas for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. A mobile version of Chroma Squad is also available for download now on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Inspired by the iconic Power Rangers, Chroma Squad is a tactical RPG developed by Brazilian indie developer, Behold Studios, which features classic sprite-based graphics and presents its story in the humor-filled Tokusatsu style, made famous in classic live-action Japanese sci-fi films and TV shows. The game enables players to take control of a team of five stunt actors who decide to quit their day jobs to live out their dreams of being Power Rangers. Players will have the chance to run their own TV production studios, customize and equip their teams, and direct them through turn-based battles to create their own TV shows.
Chroma Squad is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is available for purchase digitally on the PlayStation™ Network or Xbox Games Store today in the Americas at a MSRP of $14.99.
