Activision and Sledgehammer Games has pulled the curtain back on the next Call of Duty game. As previously confirmed, Call of Duty: WWII is taking the series back to its roots. The game will take players from the shores of Normandy during the D-Day assaults and as the game follows the US 1st Infantry Division’s advance to Germany. Like previous Call of Duty titles, the new game will feature a full single player campaign and a competitive multiplayer mode. The ever popular zombie co-op mode will be making an appearance with a brand new story. It is not entirely clear if this mode will be a new chapter in the Call of Duty zombie saga or a brand new plot all together.
Call of Duty: WWII is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on November 3rd. Those who pre-order the game will have access to a private beta test. PlayStation 4 owners will get first crack at the beta, followed by PC and Xbox One owners.
