Tekken 7 Launching on June 2

Bandai Namco has announced that they now have a set release date for Tekken 7 and although it might be a few months past their initially announced release window, the developer wanted to avoid launching with a tragically small amount of content like a certain mainstream fighter last year. Tekken 7 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 2nd and while the game will be available in a standard form, there are a number of bonuses that have already been detailed.

A Tekken 7 Collectors Edition will include the game, a 12” tall by 18” wide statue that will feature a dynamic pose with Kazuya fly kicking Heihachi in mid-air, a special Steel Book, and the official soundtrack. There will also be a season pass for the game that will give players access to three content packs that will provide new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack.

Finally, the pre-order bonus for the game will give players access to the character Eliza, a vampire that debuted in Tekken Revolution and also, those who buy the game on Xbox One, will be given a free copy of Tekken 6 that will be playable via backwards compatibility.
