Sega has announced that Hatsune Miku fans will soon be able to experience the virtual idol closer than ever starting on October 14th as the company has announced plans to release Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live onto the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe on that date. The game is designed for use with the PlayStation VR and at the moment Sega has not revealed just how much the game will cost.
The company did state that players will be able to keep time with the song by taking cues from the rest of the crowd waving their glow sticks with the goal being to cheer on Miku during her concert. As the player continues to encourage her, it builds up a voltage level that, when filled, transports the player onto the stage for a special one-on-one encore performance with Miku.
