Xbox One S to Launch in Australia on August 2

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One S will be coming to Australia on August 2nd. The 2TB Launch Edition features a slimmed down design and a built in power supply. Most importantly, the console will support 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range. Some minor quality of life changes have also been added to the front of the console, such as an IR blaster, and re-positioned USB 3.0 port and controller sync button.

The Xbox Wireless Controller has also received some upgrades. The body of the controller is now textured and Bluetooth support has been added. The controller is backwards compatible with both the old Xbox One and Windows 10. It will be priced at $89.95 AUD.

The 2TB Launch Edition Xbox One S package will be priced at $549. Gears of Wars fans who are willing to hold out until October 7th will be rewarded with a very awesome Gears of War 4 branded bundle and two custom controllers with designed inspired by Crimson Omen and JD Fenix. The Gears of War  console will be priced at $599 and the controllers will be $109.95 each.
