Batman: The Killing Joke to be Screened in Theatres

The animated feature of the popular graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke will be shown in select theaters across the world in limited runs. For those in Australia, most Hoyts, Village and other smaller theater chains will have a single session at 3:00 pm on Sunday the 24th of July. Tickets to the screenings are available to be booked online through each cinemas respective website, please check your local theater guide to see if it is hosting a screening.

A recent trailer has been released and can be viewed below. The feature will have it’s world premiere at San Diego Comic Con on the 22nd of July. A digital only release is planned for July 26th with a Blu-ray release scheduled for August 3rd. Batman: The Killing Joke sees Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprise their roles as the Batman and The Joker respectively in a tale that delves into the origins of perhaps the most iconic villain in history.
