Nexon Releases Footage from Nexon Developers Conference 16 Globally, a Footage Viewers Could Be Part of the Original Experience
This Year’s Event Draws Record-Breaking 20,680 Visitors on 10th Anniversary
TOKYO – June 24, 2016 – NEXON Co., Ltd. (3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play online and mobile games, today globally released the footage from Nexon Developers Conference 16 (“NDC16”), one of the Korea’s largest game developer conferences, hosted by Nexon’s consolidated subsidiary, NEXON Korea Corporation (“Nexon Korea”).
This year marked the conference’s 10th anniversary as one of the largest conferences in Korea for game developers and drew a record-breaking 20,680 visitors. The conference footage includes exciting highlights from the three-day event, condensed into a three minute movie that features popular sessions, art exhibitions and VR experience zone. In addition, the clips recreate the event’s lively and crowded atmosphere to make viewers feel as if they were part of the original experience. The footage also includes an interview with Owen Mahoney, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexon, in which he shares his thoughts on NDC and this year’s event theme, “Diversity.”
