Paramount Pictures Australia has announced that the fifth Transformers movie will be called Transformers: The Last Knight. Filming has hit a short delay and will begin filing next month, instead of the originally reported May 2016 start date.
The film will pick up after Transformers: Age of Extinction. Transformers: The Last Knight will once again star Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager and introduces Isabela Moner as the female lead. This is supposed to be Michael Bay’s last Transformers film, based on an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
Transformers: The Last Knight will land in Australian cinemas on June 22, 2017. To coincide with the movie title announcement, Paramount Pictures Australia has released a short teaser for the film.
