BRAND NEW BUNDLE FOR NINTENDO 2DS INCLUDES ACCLAIMED MARIO KART 7 FROM MAY 26

Selection of Nintendo 3DS games including Mario Tennis Open and Star Fox 64 3D to join the Nintendo Selects value range

20th May 2016 – The entry point to Nintendo 3DS games and franchises welcomes even more value with a new bundle for Nintendo 2DS set to include the acclaimed Mario Kart 7 – pre-installed on the console or via download code*. Releasing May 26, the new bundle will have a suggested retail price of just AU$149.95 (SRP AU$69.95 less than buying the console and Mario Kart 7 game separately).

Ever since it launched in October 2013, Nintendo 2DS has been the go-to system for newcomers to the world of quality Nintendo video games. The system plays nearly the entire library of Nintendo 3DS games in 2D, as well as most Nintendo DS games, and players with Internet access can compete online, or enjoy local multiplayer co-op experiences with other Nintendo 3DS family system owners.

Also on May 26, joining the classic titles already available for Wii and Wii U, the Nintendo Selects value range will welcome five of the most popular Nintendo 3DS titles at a new suggested retail price of AU$29.95. Whether you want to discover a game you may have missed the first time around or have simply been waiting for the best deal, the Nintendo Selects range offers varied gaming experiences at a value offering. The line-up is set to include:

Star Fox 64 3D: The Star Fox team returns for one of its greatest missions, originally released as Lylat Wars for Nintendo 64 in Australia and New Zealand. Blast enemies as you fly through ruined cityscapes and dense meteor fields, and take on friends in local multiplayer in this action-packed 3D shooter.

nintendogs + cats: Have you ever wanted to play with puppies and kittens in the palm of your hand? Look after a range of breeds, teach them tricks, enter them in different challenges and activities, and dress them up in a range of accessories. Different breeds are available to choose at the start of each of the game’s three versions: French Bulldog, Toy Poodle, and Golden Retriever. All breeds can be unlocked in all versions.

Mario Tennis Open: Thrilling tennis action for up to four players, either online or in Local Play. Run your opponent ragged with topspin, backspin, lobs and more, then get in position to pull off a stunning Chance Shot that’s sure to leave them completely bamboozled!

Yoshi’s New Island: Yoshi and Baby Mario are reunited for a free-wheeling platform adventure packed with classic Yoshi gameplay, all wrapped up in a collection of dreamy art styles. Hunt high and low for countless collectibles, and even smash through obstacles with the new Mega Eggdozers.

Mario Party: Island Tour: A content-packed party in your pocket! Dive into 80 hilarious minigames and share the fun with friends via Download Play, where four people can party on together with just one Game Card between them.

Those looking to step into the world of Nintendo 3DS games, and current owners of a handheld system in the Nintendo 3DS family can both look forward to great value and great games when the Nintendo 2DS bundle with Mario Kart 7 and five new additions to the Nintendo Selects value range both launch in Australia and New Zealand on May 26.
