ARMOR GAMES RELEASES PUZZLE RPG GEM HUNTERS ON iOS DEVICES
IRVINE, Calif. – May 26, 2016 – Armor Games has launched Gem Hunters, a hybrid puzzle role-playing game featuring 3D Touch functionality, on iOS smartphones and tablets. Players must link lines of elemental gems to strike opponents with mighty attacks and spells in turn-based battles. Special attacks can be unleashed by chaining together additional gems, and choosing which elements to match against specific enemies plays a critical role in determining the outcome of each move.
There are seven magical worlds to conquer in Gem Hunters’ single-player story mode. The adventure also includes online multiplayer against real-world rivals in the Arena, where heroes who rank at the top of the leaderboards can win special prizes for their prowess.
Players can choose one of three classes at the start of Gem Hunters – Knight, Rogue and Wizard – which can level up over time with experience gained from battle. Heroes can be further upgraded by collecting new and more powerful items, which boost players with added stats and combat effects, as well as over 80 Spirit Animals, which unlock new spells. Choosing the right combination of items and Spirit Animals to bring into the action is key to defeating some of the game’s most challenging encounters.
