‘ONE ROBOT AGAINST THE ALIEN SCUM: McDROID LANDS ON CONSOLES!’
Sci-fi Tower Defense hit arrives on Xbox One and PS4
After the successful Steam launch of action tower defense game McDROID, the intergalactic hit becomes available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store today, for only $7.99. The console versions of McDROID have been developed by Grip Digital.
Prague, 4th March 2015 – McDROID is a mix of action and tower defense gameplay, developed by the innovative team at Elefantopia. Prague studio Grip Digital, also known for current hit The Solus Project, is responsible for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
“When you mix creativity, tough action, gorgeous art style and lots of humor – you get McDROID. One of the most unique Tower Defense action games you can find in this part of the galaxy! We are proud of the game and can’t wait to see it in the hands of players on PS4 and Xbox One,” says Jakub Mikyska, co-founder and CEO of Grip Digital.
In McDROID you take control of the titular cute little robot who crash-lands on a lush planet infested with alien scum. In order to repair your ship and to heal the planet, you will have to show the aliens some really close encounters of the lethal kind. McDROID will be tasked with building a base and defenses, harvesting resources and discovering numerous crazy sci-fi weapons, as swarms of alien enemies try to take the brave ‘bot down. You can leave the dirty work to your automatic turrets, or you can join the fight yourself. McDROID is a game for players of all ages who are looking to test their wits and flex their trigger fingers.
