The next iteration of Roccat’s popular Ryos line of mechanical keyboards has hit the shelves. With a MSRP of 169.99 USD ($319.95 AUD), the Roccat Ryos MK FX Mechanical Keyboard features Roccat’s standard mechanical keyboard design using the classic keyboard layout and three thumb buttons positioned under the space bar. The keyboard uses Cherry MX Brown key switches with per key RGB lighting. It is unknown at this time if the keyboard will be made available in other switch types. The keyboard has a built in microphone and headset jack.
The entire shebang is powered by two 32-bit ARM Cortex Processor and the new Roccat Swarm drivers. The Roccat Swarm is a multi-part solution that allows users to modify even the most minute settings using the computer, switch profiles easily using their smartphone, and keep all their settings stored in the cloud. Bad news for Roccat’s legion of Linux fans, the Roccat Swarm drivers currently only support Windows.
