Ubisoft has released a simulator called “Collapse” to show how a flu like virus that ravages New York City in Tom Clancy’s The Division would destroy the world. People are invited to input a starting point for the virus and then go on a Choose Your Own Adventure type experience as all hell breaks loose. The simulator is built using data from Open Street Map, NASA open source data, and IATA Flight routes. Ubisoft spoke to actual emergency risk specialists and public service employees to help design the simulator. Ubisoft hopes “Collapse” will help gamers understand how the New York City epidemic could really happen.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is out on March 8 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
