STAR WARS™ RISE AGAINST THE EMPIRE PLAY SET FEATURING ICONIC MOMENTS FROM THE ORIGINAL STAR WARS TRILOGY NOW AVAILABLE FOR DISNEY INFINITY 3.0

MELBOURNE, AUST. – (OCTOBER 8, 2015) – Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm today launched Star Wars™ Rise Against the Empire for Disney Infinity 3.0, a new Play Set that takes place during the original Star Wars trilogy. Developed by Studio Gobo, in partnership with Avalanche Software, the Play Set takes players through the iconic moments and adventures from Episodes IV-VI, including the characters, vehicles and locations.
The Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set is available at a suggested retail price of $39.95 AUD/$49.99 NZD and includes the Play Set piece, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa figures. Han Solo, Chewbacca and Darth Vader figures are also now available and sold separately for a suggested retail price of $17.95 AUD/$24.99 NZD.
In the Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set, players will embark on galaxy-spanning missions with legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, Rebel leader Princess Leia Organa, heroic smuggler Han Solo and his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca to help defeat Darth Vader and overthrow the evil Galactic Empire. With non-stop action, players can explore open world planets like Tatooine on foot or on a Bantha, take down AT-AT walkers on snowspeeders on Hoth, out-maneuver stormtroopers on speeder bikes on Endor, and partake in epic space battles in an X-wing in attempt to destroy the Death Star.
In addition to the characters playable in Rise Against the Empire Play Set, fans will also be able to unlock and play with other Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars characters from other Star Wars Play Sets.
Additionally, the Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack and Disney•Pixar Inside Out Play Set are currently available in major retail stores for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and the Wii U™ system from Nintendo. Disney Infinity 3.0 is rated PG for mild violence and online interactivity and developed by Avalanche Software in partnership with Ninja Theory, Sumo Digital, Studio Gobo and United Front Games. Additional Disney Infinity 3.0 Play Sets, Power Discs and figures will be available later this year.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is the latest installment in the highly successful Disney Infinity “toys-to-life” franchise, bringing together characters from across The Walt Disney Company for the ultimate family gaming experience.
