UBISOFT® BRINGS PLAYERS TO THE FIELD WITH ‘ART OF SIEGE’, A SERIES OF TRAININGS FOR TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX® SIEGE

Through intense online trainings, players will learn the best intervention tactics and may earn a key for the upcoming Closed Beta

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — September 10, 2015 — Ubisoft has unveiled that Art of Siege. The first community platform to learn, master and discuss the strategies and tactics of siege, is now available online. This platform will allow players to better prepare their future matches in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the upcoming instalment of the best-selling Rainbow Six franchise, when it releases worldwide on December 1 for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Being one of the most complex forms of warfare, the siege technique requires years of training for elite teams, in order to handle each situation with the right strategies and tactics. With Art of Siege, players will enter Field Training, an intense Rainbow Six training program allowing them to get familiar with the different gambits, strategies and Operator specialties. Only the players able to complete the 5 Field Trainings will obtain a key to the Closed Beta.

Art of Siege will also include Wall of Tactics, a space in which each Closed Beta participant will be able to share his best video tactics, recorded during his own matches. It will be up to players to vote and elect which tactics are the best overall. Wall of Tactics will be live at the launch of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Closed Beta, on September 24 on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft Windows PC.

Players can start their Art of Siege training right now on the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege website, at this address: www.rainbow6.com/artofsiege

About Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Inspired by real-world counter-terrorist organizations, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege puts players in the middle of lethal close-quarter confrontations. For the first time in a Rainbow Six game, players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gives players unprecedented control over their ability to fortify their position by reinforcing walls and floors, using barbed wire, deployable shields, laying mines and more, or breach the enemies’ fortifications using observation drones, setting charges, rappelling and more. The fast pace and uniqueness of each siege sets a new bar for intense firefights, strategic gameplay and competitive gaming.
