Star of cult series Vikings storms his way to Australia Clive Standen (aka Rollo) charges into Oz Comic-Con Brisbane and Sydney

Vikings fans, get ready to rampage! British heart-throb Clive Standen, star of the Emmy Award-winning series Vikings, hits Australian shores for Oz Comic-Con Brisbane (September 19-20, BCEC) and Sydney (September 26-27, SEC@GI) this month.

Standen plays the impetuous, handsome Rollo, brother of Norse warrior Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel). Australian fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with this hot new talent straight after his much-anticipated film Everest premieres in Australia on the 17th September. He has also appeared in Doctor Who, Camelot and Robin Hood.

Standen will be taking part in professional photograph and autograph opportunities across the weekend, as well as an exclusive Q&A panel on each day of the show. A limited number of places at an exclusive dinner with Standen on the Saturday night of each show are also available, so those interested should act now to avoid disappointment.

Standen joins a growing list of guests in the impressive line-up for Oz Comic-Con Brisbane and Sydney. Other guests recently announced include Brian Krause (Charmed), Stephen Hunter and Jed Brophy (The Hobbit), Jim Beaver (Supernatural), Mark Sheppard (Supernatural Brisbane only), Ksenia Solo (Lost Girl), Rachel Luttrell (Stargate Atlantis) and Rachel Nichols (Continuum). This is in addition to previously announced guests including Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver, Stargate SG-1), Tim Rose (Star Wars), Rob Maschio and Sam Lloyd (Scrubs) and Dante Basco (Hook).

Oz Comic-Con Brisbane and Sydney are about more than their film and television guests however, with a huge range of activities and features occurring in both cities across the weekends. Amazing Cosplay (including the state and national finals of the Australian Championships of Cosplay), dedicated workshop stages, a huge range of vendors and talented comic book artists make Oz Comic-Con the place to be this September.

Oz Comic-Con will be held in Brisbane at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on September 19-20 and in Sydney at the Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island on September 26-27. Tickets and tokens are on-sale now from www.ozcomiccon.com.
