DotEmu founders establish Playdigious and announce Pix The Cat on SHIELD and Tablets

Paris, France – September 1st, 2015 – DotEmu founders Xavier Liard and Romain Tisserand proudly announce the launch of Playdigious, their new publishing company. Playdigious’ first project is Pix The Cat, to be released this autumn on NVIDIA SHIELD, Android TV, Android tablets, and iPad.

After several years of strong growth, Mr. Liard and Mr. Tisserand sold DotEmu in September 2014 to a private investor whose plans to continue growing the successful retro videogame publisher are aligned with the founders’ vision. Such information has been held confidential until today. 

Mr. Liard and Mr. Tisserand officially left DotEmu in June 2015 to establish Playdigious, with the goal to become a leading game publisher in the mobile, tablet, and TV market thanks to a smart blend between, game, technology, platform, marketing and innovation. Playdigious will focus on two key areas: premium games and mid/hardcore Freemium games, emphasizing high quality for both.

Together with NVIDIA and Pastagames, a game developer best known for Rayman Jungle Run, Playdigious is currently focused on bringing Pix The Cat on NVIDIA SHIELD, Android TV, Android tablets, and iPad.
