Kogan launches best-value Android Dual-SIM smartphone

Kogan.com unveils the Kogan Agora Lite Smartphone
A new 5” Dual-SIM Quad core device for just $129

Melbourne, Australia, July 20 2015 – Kogan.com today unveiled the latest addition to its award-winning Agora range of smartphones, the Kogan Agora Lite for less than $130.

Following on from the recently announced and well-received Agora 4G Pro Smartphone, Kogan.com’s new budget smartphone, the Agora Lite, is an Android 5.0 (Lollipop) Dual-SIM handset, with a strong build, look and specs.

The unlocked smartphone is perfect for Aussie travellers looking for an international roaming phone. The Dual-SIM compatibility allows you to simultaneously use your home SIM card to receive calls and a foreign SIM card for data and outbound calls.

The Agora Lite features a 5” LCD (854×480 pixel) IPS screen and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor for quick, easy multitasking as well as high performance when gaming, watching HD movies or browsing the web.

Powered by a 2,200 mAh Li-Ion battery, the Agora 3G Lite is no slouch, providing all day battery life on a single charge.

The smartphone features a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Agora Lite includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage that is further expandable via a MicroSD card (up to 32GB). On the connectivity front, the handset supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB and Bluetooth.

Ruslan Kogan, Founder and CEO of Kogan.com, said the new Agora Lite is a smartphone built for Australians looking for an affordable, but powerful device.

“Our customers have told us they would like to see a device with a bigger and better screen, fast processor, great battery life, as well as the freedom to personalise their smartphones – all without breaking the bank. The Kogan Agora Lite delivers exactly that and more.

“We’ve built this smartphone to provide outstanding user experience through hardware and software that is beautiful, strong and powerful. At $129, this is a smartphone that is second to none when comparing the specs and features to value for money.”
