It has been a long time since we’ve heard about State of Decay coming to the Xbox One but now Undead Labs has not only announced a release date for State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition but also what type of improvements will be made to this release of the game.
State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition will cost $29.99 / ₤19.99 / €29.99 when it releases for Xbox One on April 28th in North America and May 1st elsewhere. This release will contain both the Breakdown and Lifeline DLC as well as 1080p visuals, fancier lighting, textures, and shadows as well as completely overhauled combat mechanics and animations. Anyone who owns the Xbox 360 version of the game will be given a 33% discount on the release until June 30th as well as an exclusive character named Gurubani Kaur.
When released, State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition will feature new achievements up to 1500 Gamer Score, a new mission type that involves collecting supply crates from remote areas on the map, stronger vehicles such as SUVs and new weaponry to take down the undead.
